What is special about the Wonderful Weavers Study Group? It's the people and the time to share with each other. We challenge ourselves to learn and try new things - actually Bernie challenges us! Wonderful Weavers has been meeting since 1991 with weavers coming and going and still we all love to do our therapy through weaving.

Goal of our wonder!!!ful weavers is to encourage weavers to stretch their imagination and skills in weaving. We want to keep on learning. We truly learn from each other and take pride the work of the entire group.

Our process in selecting a project is to discuss ideas in a group and then deciding what we can all accomplish as a project no matter what level of weaver you are.

Our project for the year 2010/2011 is block weaves. We are discussing on our ideas at our meeting. Some of the weavers have their projects in mind and already on the loom, others are reading, looking for inspirations, and beginning their research and planning. Once again, each person establishes their own personal agenda and project at their level and time commitment, but is always willing to share. We plan to share with the guild in April 2011 and then in May with WW.

The social time together is important as well. We come from all over the Phoenix area - some people drive over an hour to our meetings, yet we do it because we have a special bond with each other and respect for Bernie who is the glue that keeps us together.
