Our Mission
|
The Guild is dedicated to the promotion of interest and skill in handweaving and spinning.
To achieve these goals the Guild sponsors lectures, programs, workshops, exhibits and other activities designed to provide
knowledge, support and inspiration to all who are interested. Guild members take active part in demonstrations of weaving
and spinning skills at schools, public meetings, craft fairs and civic events. the Guild welcomes members at all levels of
skill from novice to professional.
The Guild welcomes anyone interested in all TRADITIONAL
and NEW fiber crafts as guests at any one of its general meetings.
Our Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to increase the popularity of our common interests.
We encourage new and existing members so we will be able to grow and expand and learn new and diverse fiber skills.
We want to have fun while we are together and working on projects. By developing relationships and friendships, the organization
will become even stronger.
